Either way it looks stunning to me! Now we have two variations to drool over! LOL! You really did an amazing job bringing this to life and I can see how it's a difficult decision to choose between the two as the line art was equally amazing. But, luckily, now we don't have to choose at all! Superb work once again!

Thank you mate :D Actually i didnt know Norse myth characters were so much fun , i think i'll continue with Thor maybe hehe.Hmm now i got an idea, i think i'll make a series of gods and semi-gods of every myth, you know zeus, gilgamesh, osiris, quetzalcoatl (did i spell right?) etc..with the same style as i did this one ..sounds fun to me

Powerful; thats the first thought I get when I see this image and is exactly what Odin should be :)

Amazing, I love the wolves beside him. Are they just generic wolves or are they hati and scoll?

Still, this piece is amazing.

Thank you.Well, i painted all of this according to what i read about odin in wikipedia.there wasnt anything specific written about his wolves so i just painted some random stuff.Their names were freki and geri or something like that.as far as i know hati and scoll were something connected to sun and moon, but i may be wrong

The whole image as it stands is great and I love it! Another thing I definately like very much is the amount of detail you put into his beard. I also find the glyph around him very eye appealing as well and the helm he is wearing.

However, here are some things I suggest:
(You may go back on these later, maybe)

I don't know if it was a lack of inspiration but I was sort of looking forward to a more cleaner image like your other work. I was surprised to not see that in this image as much. That being said it still looks decent.

The hands I think can use some more detail.

Another thing I suggest is to color the middle part of his face black (still leaving the eye as it is) because he looks like he is missing a nose.

The last thing I suggest is making the eye of Odin stand OUT more, along with the birds and wolves eyes. I was surpised to find that the eyes stood out better in your sketch than in the final product.

Now whether you will take these suggestions, I don't know, however, I am thankful for you taking my suggestion on the Odin thing. There may be some downs to this picture but OVERALL it is well done.

Keep up your work!

"Hell belongs in a book
Where the setting is doused with flowers
Upon a field, accompanied by butterflies,
As some random man screams,
“Today’s weather is 50 degrees
With a 101% chance of cloudy skies,
Just to irk the Hell out of it!" -SIRyan-

For everyone reading this, please, even if it is very small, give a comment to this awesome artist!

For those that have read my suggestions below and found them harsh in any way, shape, or form that was not intended. I just wrote what I felt could use some work for the Artist himself.

Thanks for doing this Yigit!

it looks very good, and no you are right about hati and scoll; I actually never read about Freki and Geri so that's probably why I thought those two at first.

Hati chases the moon while Scoll chases the sun (i believe)

But anyway, I really like how you painted this piece..as I mentioned before, I like how you captured Odin.

I am a huge fan of Norse Mythology :)

I love it :O....i dont really know a lot abt the mythology but this is one impressive painting :D
:iconimrooniel:
ok... now its just less blurred :P
:iconpeacefulsoul:
Looking at this over again, the ONE big thing that would make this picture better is to just color the brownish patch in his face black to make him look more mysterious.

This picture looks better now that I look at it over and over. I think that part in his face is the ONE thing that draws me away from this picture, slighty.

Tell me what you think . . .
