This was my entry for CGHubs challenge " natives of the lifeless forest"

Here are some details ---> [link]

Robots, weary and rusty from all those years of heavy duty, claimed a forest thinking they could at last find peace.Their oath was to destroy anyone who would approach their new sanctuary.But this small one looked lost and different than the other greedy humans..Would they still be loyal to their oath?

The half star off was because of that movie with what's his face where the dead girl predicted the disasters... kind of reminds me of that movie!

In all seriousness... this is a spectacular piece. The first thing you notice is the little boy and "oh crap" position he's standing in.

The robot is amazing... so detailed and the light reflecting is just really damn good. The best part has to be the laser lines you put on, I don't think I've seen anyone go into detail as much as you have in a really long time!

Incredible job... heck this looks like a cinematic cut in a video game!

really it's great idea and I like this view, and I'm look at this reflections and lighting really it's have very reality..
I hop if I can take it this idea to my short film name " city from another world " all this film say at this boy " but it's girl " what ever ... I think my film same your idea of this shot, please can I used this idea in my short film ? coz I need it so much, thank you but about this painting just I can say: you are a good artist and this is a good job, bravo. :love: :+fav:
